Escape from Rome - an original game - demo version
All roads lead to Rome!
Around the house, we call this "chario-kart". Travel the via Latina in this demo version of our first full game. Dodge obstacles, or shoot them with javelins ("veruta"), choose paths of agility or those of endurance.
Earn gravitas - the in-game currency - and spend it on consumables that will improve your trips along Rome's roads. Earn enough gravitas and you can exchange it for denarii, which can be spent on powerful upgrades, making your chariot more durable or consumables more effective.
Please note - this demo version is free, and there is no way any "real" money may be spent. All transactions in the game store use in-game currency only (earned by playing the game). This is a demo - expect bugs, unfinished looks, changes in game balance.

Tips and Tricks
- Your horses will slow from time to time when they are off-road or encounter an obstacle, or get tired.- Run into apples to add a little energy to your horses. You may also recharge their energy simply by keeping your speed at 10 or below.
- Being airborne earns you gravitas every moment, but also decreases your chariot's hit points.
- Nitroats are powerful - they grant invulnerability and dramatic speed while active. Steer well! They deactivate the moment you stray from the road.
- You can occasionally find consumables on the map - run into them to add them to your inventory. Questions? Find support on Discord here -
Why this background picture, you wonder? Fiefdom is located in the heart of Amish country, where this kind of karting is very, very real.
